Technical & Maintenance Manager

StatoilHydro is the leading Oil & Gas exploration operator from Norwayand one of the largest offshore oil and gas producers in the world. StatoilHydro’s office in Brazil, is responsible for the development Peregrino Field in the Campos Basin. The Peregrino Project willdemand about R$2 billion of investments during its development phaseand first oil planned for 2010.
StatoilHydro is looking for:
Technical & Maintenance Manager (Production and Platform Maintenance Manager)
- Rio de Janeiro
- Desired profile:
• Desirable Master Degree in relevant technical areas;
• Fluent English;
• Offshore experience (desirable 5 years or at least 3 years);
• Experience as a Platform Manager (nowadays or a previewexperience);
• Knowledge in the SAP system;
• Minimum 10-15 years industrial background and practice from onshoreand/or offshore production/process plants.
Main responsibilities:
• The position leads a team of Engineers and technical skilledpersonnel to support the long term reliability and operability ofoffshore plants and equipments. During the pre-operational phase theposition will be responsible for the adaptation and development ofrelevant StatoilHydro technical governing procedures and systemsenabling safe and efficient offshore operations; § Advisory support to offshore and onshore management in alltechnical safety, maintenance and plant integrity aspects;
§ Responsible for the Well Head Platform Preventive Maintenanceprogram;
• Responsible for Operations Planning, for Campaign Maintenance andfor keeping track of records for maintenance backlog, etc.
